Arts in the Park, Brainerd Show

There were 100 vendors set up in Gregory Park in Brainerd, Minnesota.  It wasn’t a mist, it was rain from 6 until 2, not great for a craft show.  There were some brave shoppers with umbrellas making the rounds, thank you nice shoppers.  It was still a great day even with that rainy weather.  I also was fortunate to win a ribbon for first in the jewelry category and a nice money prize.  Next show in Pequot on the 4th of July.

St. Cloud Lemonade Show

I and many others had a great show on the campus in St. Cloud, MN.  I had a much easier spot to unload my gear and jewelry.  Last year it felt like a block away, back and forth with my wagon 10 times.  The weather was fantastic, last year rain and gloomy.  There were many shoppers and a few even found me because of my website I keep trying to figure out.  Thanks for visiting my spot.

Working on my web site

I am now going to try to make my web site a better place. I got so busy with making my jewelry and doing shows I just gave up last summer so I will do better this year. I’m in the process of signing up for the craft shows, some of them require photos of my jewelry some I just send in money. I’ve noticed that most of the vendors have handmade items but now there seems to be many vendors who rather buy goods and resell them.

My First Show of 2017

Well, I was a bit worried as the road I was going to turn onto to get to Crosslake was gone, I continued into Pequot and saw the 116 detour sign. I followed the detour and finally ended up where I was supposed to go. The temp was in the low 40’s, wind gusts up to 25mph and big rain coming. I did partially set up but as we watched the computer weather report I decided at 10:15 to pack up and drive back to Mpls.
